Leaf Moisture Sensor

ZenoSmart LoRaWAN Leaf Moisture Sensor precisely measures the moisture and temperature levels on plant leaf surfaces, providing valuable data for irrigation management, dew formation, humidification, and frost risk analysis. Thanks to its LoRaWAN connectivity, this data is transmitted in real-time to cloud platforms, enabling more informed agricultural decision-making. With its IP67-protected design and special leaf-shaped structure, the sensor ensures long-term reliable performance in outdoor environments. The device is battery-powered and easy to install; once the probe is placed in the appropriate area, data collection begins automatically.

By default, the sensor transmits data every 15 minutes, and this interval can be adjusted via the IoT interface according to specific needs. Through the ZenoSmart platform, data can be monitored in daily, weekly, or monthly reports. By accurately determining the plant’s real water requirements, it prevents over-irrigation and yield losses while reducing the risks of diseases and pests. As a result, it supports healthy plant growth and maximizes agricultural productivity.

1. What does the ZenoSmart Leaf Moisture Sensor measure?
The sensor precisely measures moisture and temperature levels on plant leaf surfaces, helping with irrigation management, dew formation, humidification, and frost risk analysis.

2. How is the sensor installed and powered?
The device is battery-powered and easy to install. Once the leaf-shaped probe is placed in the appropriate area, it automatically starts collecting and transmitting data via LoRaWAN.

3. How often does the sensor send data, and can it be adjusted?
By default, the sensor transmits data every 15 minutes. This interval can be adjusted through the IoT interface according to specific needs, though higher transmission frequency may reduce battery life.
