The ZenoSmart LoRaWAN Soil pH Sensor precisely measures the pH level and temperature of soil in agricultural fields and transmits data to cloud platforms over the LoRaWAN network. Thanks to its IP68 certified waterproof probe, it is suitable for long-term underground use. The ZenoSmart Soil pH Sensor improves farming efficiency by tracking soil pH in fields, greenhouses and gardens. It runs on a 3.6V battery and sends data to a LoRaWAN Gateway every 15 minutes. You can change this interval easily through the IoT platform. With the ZenoSmart online platform, you can monitor data remotely and review daily, weekly or monthly reports. The sensor helps you maintain the right pH balance. It also reduces fertiliser waste, supports healthy plant growth and boosts crop yield. How does the sensor work and transmit data?
Answer:
The sensor operates with a built-in Li-SOCl₂ battery and transmits the measured data wirelessly to the cloud platform via the LoRaWAN network. The default data transmission interval is 15 minutes, but it can be adjusted according to user needs. Additionally, the device can establish bidirectional communication with the gateway (uplink & downlink).
